Ante Pavelić

Ante Pavelić (14 July 1889 – 28 December 1959) was a Croatian lawyer, politician and nationalist. He was vice-president of the Croatian Bar Association, the professional body representing Croatian lawyers, and since 1927 vice-president of the Croation Party of Rights. He was organizer of the Croatian Revolutionary Movement "Ustasha" for Croatia's liberation from Yugoslavia, and the Prime Minister and Leader of the Independent State of Croatia from 1941 during World War II, being in alliance with Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler.
