George Lincoln Rockwell (9 March 1918 – 25 August 1967) was a United States Navy Commander, political activist, and founder of the American Nazi Party. He was the first-known American in the postwar period in the United States to prominently use National Socialist symbolism and to model his beliefs, writings, and ideology of Adolf Hitler's doctrine. His beliefs and writings have continued to be influential among people with similar views, particularly in the United States.
