This template indicates that a page is protected so that only users with extended-confirmed permissions may edit it.

Usage

Place this near the top of a protected page:

Important

This template does not actually protect a page. It only displays the protection indicator.

Page protection must still be applied by an administrator using the wiki's page protection tools.
